The manga covers an alternate series of events that occurs in the first chapter of the game. Taking place in the fantasy world of Endiness. Dart, a traveling warrior from the village of Seles, goes off to rescue his childhood friend Shana from the clutches of Hellena prison. After saving her and making a new friend Lavitz, a knight from the city of Basil. Dart goes to Fort Hoax where he eventually meets Rose, a mysterious female swordsman who awakens the power of the Dragoon within him and changes his life forever.
